Would you dry your teabags on the washing line?
It appears that the cost of living crisis has reached tea lovers. People feeling the tightening of their family budgets are increasingly using innovative ways to make their money go further. Now research by vouchercodes.co.uk has revealed that skint Britons are hanging teabags on the washing line to dry them out before reusing them.
More than one in seven dry them out to save cash with women being the most likely to recycle the bags with 16% confessing to the practice. Men are only slightly less likely with 14 % admitting to hanging out their used teabags. One thing that the research has confirmed is that this practice is more likely to occur in people aged 55 plus.
