The darker side of coffee: The Goth latte
You sometimes see them in the dark shadows of pubs and clubs, dressed head to toe in black and generally looking a little sad and downbeat. Goths have their own culture and society, but did you know they also have their own unique style of coffee too?
Yes, unsurprisingly it is called a Goth latte and even less surprising it comes in one colour…yes you’ve guessed it…black.
How is it made to be as black as a dark night? By adding active charcoal to a regular latte, here at UKVending we don’t suggest you try it for yourselves as active charcoal has the taste of soggy cement, but hey if you’re a goth, you might just like to taste this black…er…delight.
At the moment, the Goth latte hasn’t gone around the world like a viral and is mostly confined to a few places in Australia.
