3 ways to reuse your old teabags in the kitchen
We all know that tea is a fabulous, refreshing, and natural beverage, but most of us will throw out old teabags without a thought, adding to the growing tide of waste. What most people don’t know is that tea and teabags are incredibly useful in a wide variety of, sometimes very unusual ways.
1. Tenderize meat: Marinate tough meat in black tea to make it more tender.
2. Smoke it: Add tea to a smoker to make tea-infused cheeses and meats.
3. Boil eggs: The Chinese also like to add tea leaves to the water after boiled eggs are cooked. This adds some flavour and colour to the boiled eggs.
